What ends up on your device

Three things, all three technically necessary, none of them switchable — which is why we do not ask you about them.

Nothing else: no counter, no statistics, no advertising, no identifier that tells you apart from anybody else.

What is on the server

We store what was looked up and what we answered, so we can see where our shop list has gaps. Your IP address is not part of it — not shortened, not hashed. Two people looking up the same thing leave two rows nobody can tell apart.

What you send through the bug button in the corner is stored as you wrote it, together with the page you were on when you pressed it. Nothing else: no address, no name, nothing we could answer to.

For at most one hour a salted fingerprint of your address sits in a counter table. It stops somebody calling the service every second, and is deleted afterwards.

Other people's servers

This page loads nothing from anybody else's server: no fonts, no maps, no images, no scripts. While you are here, nobody but us knows you are here. Only when you click a shop link do you go to that shop — and there its own rules apply.

And the link you paste?

The link is fetched by our server, not by your browser — the Amazon one and any other shop's one alike. The shop sees our server, not you. The address itself is not stored: the row we keep says what kind of thing it was and what we answered, and no more.

Who reads this

Questions about this page, or about what is stored here, go to admin@nojeff.eu. If something about the site itself is wrong, the bug button in the corner is the shorter way.

What happened?

We store only what you write here — no address, no name, nothing we could answer to. Somebody reads it, but nobody writes back. If you need an answer, write to admin@nojeff.eu.
