About nojeff
What this is
You want to order something and you already have the Amazon link open. nojeff works out what kind of thing it is and shows you shops in Germany and Austria that carry that kind of thing — with a link straight into their own search. The link may be from any other shop just as well; or you just pick a category, and we show you the shops in it.
How it works
From an Amazon link we take the product code and read the title of the page; from any other shop we read the title of its product page, and where the shop will not let us in, the name out of the address. A language model sorts the product into a fixed set of categories. Then we look through our own shop list for those categories. The model writes one sentence per shop about why it fits — and nothing else. If you only pick a category we ask no model at all: you have already said what it is about.
Where the rating comes from
Every rating sits in our list and carries a link to the page we read it from. "Checked" means there is a membership or a certificate anybody can look up. "Our own reading" means there is no certificate, but we looked up who owns the shop and where it is based. The language model never writes a rating — it is not even shown one.
What we do not know
We do not know whether a shop has this exact product in stock right now. We do not compare prices. We do not know delivery times. And a certificate is a certificate, not a guarantee. The link takes you to the shop's own search, or to its front page when you only picked a category — what you find there is yours to judge.
The name
The name is a joke at the expense of a very rich man and nothing more. nojeff belongs to nobody, sells nothing and earns nothing from any click.
